01Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using EnLab you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use EnLab.
These Terms apply to all of the following (together, "EnLab" or the "Service"):
- the website at enlab.co.in;
- the EnLab connector for Claude, which lets Claude (the AI assistant made by Anthropic) work on your firmware projects;
- the EnLab hardware server, the program you download from enlab.co.in and pair with your account to work with hardware attached to your computer;
- the EnLab agentic CLI IDE; and
- any related cloud workspaces, builds, documentation and support.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher, to use EnLab. If you use EnLab on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation, and "you" includes that organisation.
02Your account
You may need an account to use parts of EnLab. You sign in with your Google account, and email and password sign-in may be offered later.
- Give us accurate and complete information, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your credentials secure and do not share your account. Tell us promptly at contact@enlab.co.in if you suspect unauthorised use.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including actions taken through Claude or the hardware server while connected to it.
- If your organisation manages accounts, its administrators may be able to add or remove users, view usage, and control access. Your organisation is responsible for its administrators.
03License to use EnLab
Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to use EnLab for your own engineering work (or your organisation’s internal engineering work) while your account is in good standing.
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by EnLab.
04Intellectual property and restrictions
EnLab’s software, tools, knowledge base, datasets, workflow logic, prompts, models of operation and documentation are proprietary to EnLab. They are protected by copyright, trade secret and other intellectual property laws.
You must not, and must not use Claude, any other AI system, or any script, bot or other automated means to:
- extract, scrape, enumerate or bulk-download EnLab’s knowledge base or the outputs of EnLab tools;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the hardware server or any other EnLab software, except to the extent the law expressly permits this despite this restriction;
- probe, infer or reconstruct EnLab’s internal logic, prompts or rules;
- use EnLab, or anything obtained from it, to build, train or benchmark a competing product, model or dataset;
- resell, rent, sublicense or otherwise give third parties access to EnLab; or
- circumvent or interfere with rate limits, quotas, operation signing, authentication or any other security control.
05Monitoring and enforcement
We log use of the Service to operate it, to keep it secure, and to detect abuse, including attempts to extract or copy EnLab’s intellectual property.
If we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, we may throttle, suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice where the situation requires it. We may also take civil or criminal legal action, including seeking injunctive relief and recovery of damages.
06Your content
You keep ownership of your code, repositories, firmware, device data and other material you provide or create with EnLab ("Customer Content").
You give EnLab only the rights needed to provide the Service to you: to access, process, build, store temporarily and transmit Customer Content, and to push changes to branches when you ask us to. These rights end when we no longer need them to provide the Service, except where we must keep records by law.
EnLab does not use Customer Content to train AI models.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to give us access to your Customer Content, and that doing so does not breach anyone else’s rights or any agreement you are bound by.
07GitHub access
If you link GitHub, you install the EnLab GitHub App on the repositories you choose. Depending on the permissions you grant, the App can read and write repository contents and open pull requests.
- EnLab pushes only to branches that EnLab creates for your request.
- EnLab never merges pull requests, and never pushes to your default branch on its own. Merging is always your decision.
- You can revoke access at any time by uninstalling the EnLab GitHub App or removing repositories from it in your GitHub settings.
08Hardware and safety
Flashing, debugging and hardware-in-the-loop testing act on real devices. These operations can erase, misconfigure or damage boards, devices and connected equipment.
- You are responsible for your hardware and connected equipment, for reviewing and approving each operation before it runs, and for following safe laboratory and electrical practice.
- EnLab is not responsible for damaged hardware, data lost from devices, or the consequences of firmware you choose to deploy.
- EnLab is not designed or intended for safety-critical, medical, automotive, aviation, life-support or similar uses. If you use EnLab in work connected to such systems, you must carry out your own independent verification, validation and certification, and you do so at your own risk.
09AI output
EnLab works with Claude, an AI assistant provided by Anthropic. EnLab does not run its own AI model. Claude may produce code, explanations or advice that is incorrect, incomplete, insecure or unsuitable for your situation.
You must review, test and take responsibility for all output before you use it, including any firmware you flash to a device.
Claude is provided by Anthropic under Anthropic’s own terms and policies. EnLab is not responsible for Anthropic’s services.
10Acceptable use
You must not use EnLab to:
- create, distribute or deploy malware, or firmware intended to cause harm;
- attack, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any system, network, device or account;
- store or process illegal content, or infringe anyone’s rights; or
- violate export-control, sanctions or other applicable laws, including by giving access to restricted persons or destinations.
11Fees and taxes
EnLab is a paid service. Plans and prices will be published on our pricing page at enlab.co.in, and the price that applies to you will be shown before you buy.
Fees, where they apply, are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST).
We may change fees or plans. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any change that affects you, and the change will apply from your next billing period.
12Third-party services
EnLab relies on services from other companies, including Anthropic (Claude), GitHub, Google (sign-in and cloud hosting) and Vercel (website hosting). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and EnLab is not responsible for them.
13Disclaimers, liability and indemnity
EnLab is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EnLab will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, hardware or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of EnLab.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EnLab’s total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to EnLab in the 12 months before the claim arose, and USD 100 (one hundred US dollars) or its equivalent in Indian rupees.
You will indemnify and hold harmless EnLab and its officers, employees and agents from any claims, losses, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of EnLab, your breach of these Terms, your Customer Content, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights.
14Suspension and termination
You may stop using EnLab and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would create a security, legal or operational risk. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to fix the issue.
When your account ends, your license ends and we will delete or anonymise your data as described in our Privacy Policy, except where we must keep it by law.
Sections on intellectual property and restrictions, enforcement, hardware and safety, AI output, disclaimers, liability and indemnity, governing law, and any other terms that by their nature should continue, survive termination.
15Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
16Changes, contact and Grievance Officer
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes we will give you reasonable advance notice, for example by email or in the product. If you keep using EnLab after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
